Bookings and Events  The Hall is available for hire to local organisations, businesses and individuals in accordance with the Hiring Policy and the Standard Conditions of Hire. During the booking process you will be asked to confirm that you have read and accepted the Standard Conditions of Hire.  Standard Conditions of Hire  The Village Hall Committee has introduced the Hallmaster online booking service. This allows enquiries and bookings to be made directly online. Please follow the link below to start your booking. Payment will generally be required via PayPal. The Bookings Administrator is Helen Fothergill.  To make a booking please click on the link below: Hallmaster Booking System  Hire charges from 1 September 2023 are:    Main Hall Small Meeting Rooms  Regular activity user (clubs and classes): £12 p/hr £6 p/hr  Topcliffe/Asenby parishioner: £15 p/hr £7.50 p/hr  Non – resident / parishioner: £30 p/hr £15 p/hr  Parishioner’s children's party: £15 p/hr  Non-parishioner’s children’s party: £30 p/hr  Parish Council Meeting: No Charge  Day hire for elections: £250   Sessions include 30 minutes set up and 30 minutes clear up.   Room Details  Main Hall  The main hall measures 14 x 8 metres. It holds a maximum 95 people seated or standing.  There are 60 green cloth upholstered chairs stacked around the main hall.  A storage trolley in the large cupboard off the main hall holds 9 large foldaway tables measuring 72 x 27 inches and 4 smaller foldaway tables measuring 48 x 27 inches.  There's also 20 black plastic chairs on trolleys in the same cupboard.  Additional stacking chairs are stored in the high cupboard on the right hand side of the entrance lobby (these can be made available by arrangememnt). Chairs located in the lower and upper committee rooms can be used in the main hall if required (and if there is no separate booking underway or planned in those rooms. A fixed ceiling projector and wall screen are available, along with a sound system.  Kitchen   The kitchen is included in the booking cost of the main hall. It contains a cooker/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, sinks, kettles, water boiler, glasses, crockery and cutlery. Events/meetings held in the committee rooms can also use the kitchen area subject to availability (main hall hirers have priority).  Downstairs Committee Room  This room measures 4 x 6 metres. It holds a maximum 20 seated people.  There are 12 gold fabric (carver style) chairs. Additional chairs from the main hall or the main hall storage cupboard can be used (subject to availability).  This room also contains the library and some storage.  Upstairs Committee Room   This room measures approx. 4 x 6 metres. It holds a maximum 20 seated people.  It contains 12 blue plastic stacking chairs. Additional chairs from the main hall or the main hall storage cupboard can be used (subject to availability).  The room contains a large table measuring 190x130cm in fixed position.   Other facilities  A number of smaller non-matching tables and 2 x large trestle tables are available for events. Charges relating to the hire of the main hall and committee rooms include the use of female, male and disability toilet facilities which are located at the main entrance of the hall. A wheelchair is stored in the Downstairs committee room provided for use within the hall and grounds.   If a hirer intends to sell alcohol, they must apply to the local authority for a Temporary Entertainments Licence.
